Kitchen Remodeling in Bixby

What to Expect During Your Kitchen Remodel

Our process establishes clear decision points before installation and keeps the work organized from the first consultation through the final walkthrough.

Your project may include these stages:

• Initial consultation: We discuss your goals, review the intended scope, and gather project measurements.
• Design and material selection: We coordinate cabinet decisions with countertop, backsplash, and finish choices.
• Written proposal: We outline the planned work, pricing, and scheduling so you can review the details before installation.
• Installation: Our team completes the specified countertop, cabinet, and backsplash work.
• Final walkthrough: We inspect the completed work with you, clean the project area, and provide applicable care instructions.

How to Choose a Kitchen Countertop Material

The right countertop should suit how you cook, clean, and use your kitchen. During stone slab selection, consider pattern variation, care requirements, heat exposure, and how the surface can coordinate with nearby cabinets and finishes.

Granite Countertops

Each granite slab has distinct patterning and color movement. Viewing full slabs in person lets you assess those natural variations and choose the specific surface for your kitchen.

Quartz Countertops

Quartz is an engineered surface available in a wide range of consistent colors and patterns. We carry seven quartz brands, with choices ranging from understated designs to more pronounced veining.

Marble Countertops

Marble offers natural veining, an elegant appearance, and resistance to heat. Because it has material-specific care requirements, it's important to consider your maintenance expectations before choosing it for a frequently used kitchen.

Travertine

Travertine has natural variation and distinctive textured character. We can explain how its appearance and care requirements compare with those of other available stone surfaces.

When to Check Bixby Residential Permit Requirements

Permit and inspection requirements depend on the work included in a kitchen remodel. A surface-focused project may differ from one that affects structural elements, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, or other regulated construction components.

The City of Bixby outlines construction document and plan requirements through its residential building permit process. Homeowners should confirm the requirements for their project with the city before work begins, particularly when the proposed scope extends beyond countertops, cabinets, or backsplashes.
